Experience

  • 2026 Zürich, Switzerland
Research Assistant · ETH AI Center
    • Supervised by Anna Hedström and Imanol Schlag.
    • Research on how the safety properties of LLMs change under adaptation (manuscript in preparation).
    • Detected hallucinations in Apertus-8B with activation probes, published on Apertus Claritas. Also maintained the Apertus Claritas blog.
  • 2026 Warsaw, Poland
AI Research Intern · Research Institute IDEAS
    • Supervised by Bartłomiej Twardowski.
    • Explored whether narrow fine-tuning spreads unsafe behaviour to unrelated inputs in VLMs, diffusion models and LLMs, designing modality-specific fine-tuning datasets and evaluations.
  • 2023 → 2025 Warsaw, Poland
Research Software Engineer · MI²AI (Prof. Przemysław Biecek's group)
    • Led a 3-person team building SerolyzeR for the EU-funded PvSTATEM malaria trial, run by Michael White at Institut Pasteur, whose team are its main users. Ran meetings with them and visited on site in Paris to gather feedback and fix bugs. About 5.5k CRAN downloads; still actively developed at MI²AI.
    • Built meteors for hyperspectral XAI (with ESA), about 11k PyPI downloads.
    • Rebuilt the lab’s bare-metal Kubernetes GPU cluster (4 nodes, NVIDIA A30, Flux/GitOps) after an etcd failure. It still serves the group and hosts Poland’s only CRAN mirror.
  • 2023 Warsaw, Poland
Data Analyst · Polish Reading Research Institute
    • Data visualization and large-scale survey-data processing for readership insights.
  • 2022 Toruń, Poland
Data Analysis Intern · ONDE S.A.
    • Optimized operation of a PV-farm energy-storage system to increase profit from energy trading.

Education

  • 2025 → 2028 Zürich, Switzerland
ETH Zürich · M.Sc. in Computer Science (Machine Intelligence major)
    • Expected graduation February 2028.
    • Focused on understanding frontier machine-learning research, working on computer vision and language models.
    • Coursework: algorithms, high-performance computing, big-data systems, and probabilistic methods.
  • 2021 → 2025 Warsaw, Poland
Warsaw University of Technology · B.Sc. in Data Science
    • GPA 4.87/5, summa cum laude. Award-winning thesis (SerolyzeR): Distinction in the V National Competition for the Best CS Thesis.
    • Vice-President of the Mathematical Science Club (2 years); Rector’s Scholarship (4×); Individual Study Plan for top students.
